Very Important!

Student visas must be obtained from the Chinese Consulate in the U.S. before departure. AIFS will provide details to help you obtain a visa. Please note: you cannot apply for a visa until you obtain a passport. Students are strongly encouraged to apply for a passport as early as possible even if they are just considering study abroad. Please Note: The Chinese consulate charges an additional fee to obtain a visa which is not included in the program fee.
