2008 Photo and Video Contest
Did you take some great pictures and video footage from your 2008 Summer Advantage program? Share them with Summer Advantage and you could win a Flip Video Mino!
We're looking for pictures and videos that capture your experience abroad. The bakery owner opening his shop in the morning on the streets of Paris...your friends studying over an espresso in Rome...a landmark...whatever makes you remember that special time and place that defined your trip overseas.
FIVE lucky winners will receive a Flip Video Mino!
Photo / Video Quality
Photos:
- The larger the image, the better.
- Digital photos should be at least 3 MP, 1050x1500 pixels, or able to print at least 3.5x5".
- Printed photos should be on photo quality paper.
Videos:
- Students must submit videos on a CD.
- Videos must be WMF or AVI format in NTSC mode.
- Videos must be no more than 3 minutes long.
- Background music must not be used (for copyright reasons) unless composed and performed by the student.
How to Enter
Deadline: October 1st, 2008
All entries must be accompanied by:
- Your name
- Mailing address, phone number and e-mail address
- Program date and location
- Home school and state
- A brief description of your photo or video —please be as specific as possible (Big Ben in London, The Colosseum in Rome, etc.)

Contest rules:
Photos and videos may be used at any time in other AIFS marketing materials, including but not limited to: catalogs, brochures, flyers, posters and web site.
You may enter as many photos and/or videos as you like, but only one prize will be awarded per student regardless of how many entries are submitted.
Pictures and videos must be in good taste. AIFS reserves the right to edit videos for length and/or content.
Entries will not be returned and will become the property of AIFS.
