Students will get a taste of university life before they enroll in college and help students to strengthen their prospects for acceptance at a leading U.S. university through foreign language study or liberal arts courses abroad. Students with a high level of fluency in the local language can take advanced level language courses. Most U.S. colleges accept transfer credits for completed work from the programs.
Programs average 4 weeks in duration. Students can earn up to 7 semester credits, depending on program. In addition to course work, an extensive program of cultural activities including day trips and multi-day excursions is built in to every program to ensure students are able to truly experience life abroad.
Program fee includes: transcripts for college credit, tuition, housing, meals plans, cultural activities, day trips and excursions, insurance/assistance package and services of a full-time, on-site Resident Director and AIFS support staff.
The program is organized by the American Institute For Foreign Study, the leading provider of educational and cultural exchange programs since 1964.
